AREA ACTIVITIES
SUSTAINABILITY
The transition from a linear to a circular economy and towards sustainability is one of the principal vectors of change in our society, as well as an exceptional priority within the European Union’s framework program. This shift, although still incipient in many aspects, brings up widely diverse and intense challenges and opportunities for the entirety of the economic fabric. From 2018 on, the Club de Calidad, has intensified its focus on the objective of raising awareness in management techniques, providing training and disseminating a proper exchange of experiences in said matter.
AREA ACTIVITIES
MANAGEMENT
Originally, the Club Asturiano de Calidad was a network of ISO 9001-certified companies with the main objective of promoting management-awareness campaigns and experience-exchange sessions. Nowadays, 25 years later and having faced enormous changes in all of their fields of expertise, the Club de Calidad is still successfully instructing their members on advanced management techniques with the help of specific regulations and administration models.
AREA ACTIVITIES
PRODUCTIVITY
Some of the most important parts of the management field are continuous improvement, incremental innovation, process efficiency, and all of the actions that allow for enhanced productivity. From the previously mentioned use models and regulations to an approach that involves lean and agile methodologies, the range of tools and solutions organizations can make use of is greatly broad, useful, and of universal reach.
AREA ACTIVITIES
HUMAN RESOURCES
These last few years, the importance of human resources management has exponentially grown among the list of priorities for the Club’s members as it is a fundamental part to be successful in other areas. Furthermore, no other aspect of business management is as challenging as the human factor, nor provides bigger competitive advantages in case of being successful.
Work Groups
The Club’s Work Groups are spaces designed specifically to share challenging aspects, exchange experiences and propose collaborative solutions while working alongside the other members of the Club.
“Work Groups” is a free initiative exclusively offered to members of the Club which englobes around 20 yearly activities divided into 7 categories:
Formación
The Club de Calidad designs their training programs specifically following their members’ needs in each of the four fields that are currently prioritized. Some of the programs that stand out the most are the Master’s Degree in Operation Management and Lean Six Sigma in collaboration with the University of Oviedo, and the Soft Skills training – especially the course on Management Skills for Middle Management Positions, which has been imparted for more than 30 editions.
